The management team of 3anglecapital is composed of senior professionals with an in-depth knowledge and experience in the business areas and in the regions where the company is developing its activities.
These professionals have been involved in most of the largest investment banking transactions in the area of influence of 3anglecapital (Brazil, Spain, Portugal and the cross border flows of Iberia and Middle East) over the last years, and have senior relations with the key corporations in Iberia and Brazil and with the key Investment Institutions of the Middle East.
Vasco Duarte-Silva, Managing Parner
Prior to co-founding 3anglecapital, Mr. Duarte-Silva has been Global Corporate and Investment bank Head at Banco Santander, Subdirector General and member of the executive committee of Santander Global Banking and Markets division, being responsible for customer relationship coverage teams in Europe (Spain, Portugal, UK, Germany, Italy, France, and Switzerland), Latin America (Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia and Mexico), and USA, coordinating as well all SGBM activity in Middle East. Mr. Duarte Silva was also responsible for the following product activities globally: Mergers & Acquisitions, Debt Capital Markets, Credit Markets (including Leveraged Finance, Project Finance and Acquisition Finance), Asset & Capital Structuring, and Equity Capital Markets.
Mr. Duarte Silva has also acted as Global Head of Equities and Commodities businesses at Banco Santander, directly managing more than 600 people globally, with responsibilities for Banco Santander´s activities in Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela and NY Office.
Prior to joining Banco Santander, Mr. Duarte Silva spent 14 years in Citigroup as Managing Director in Treasury and Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives areas, in Lisbon, Madrid, and London.
Filipe Ribeiro-Ferreira, Managing Partner
Prior to co-founding 3anglecapital, Mr. Ribeiro-Ferreira was European Head of the Global Equities and Commodities Division at Banco Santander (managing over €700mm of revenues in Spain, Portugal and UK). He joined Banco Santander in 2005 as Head of M&A for Spain & Portugal, soon to be promoted in 2006 to Global Corporate Finance Head (including M&A, Debt Capital Markets and Equity Capital Markets) with responsabilities for Spain, Portugal, NY office, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Venezuela.
Prior to joining Banco Santander, Mr Ribeiro Ferreira, was responsible for the Spanish Investment Banking activities of Banco Espirito Santo. – Investment Banking, where he was also member of the executive committee that oversaw its investment banking activities globally. Previous to this position he was Co-Head of Corporate Finance (Portugal, Spain, Brazil and UK) of Banco Finantia in Portugal.
Rui Silva, Managing Partner
Prior to joining 3anglecapital as Managing Partner responsible for the Sao Paulo office, Mr. Silva had been corporate Managing Director of ABN Amro in Brazil from 2002 to 2009, acting as the Head of Capital Markets and Head of Banco ABN Amro Real´s Equity Broker, relocating from New York where he was co-head of origination and structuring of debt products for Latin America. He previously had held various positions at Citigroup in Portugal and London, with responsibilities in Trade Finance and Cross Border Finance.
